Decision Time!

Question 1

• Which reason do you believe was MOST responsible for the start of World War One?

• In your groups discuss why you believe this?

Question 2

• Did the United States have a choice when they were deciding whether or not to get involved in WWI?

• This time move across the class and grab a partner that believes the opposite of you.  If you need to work in groups.  Share your reasons with your partner.

Question 3

• Do you believe the Treaty of Versailles was a cause of war? 

• Do you believe it was the MAIN cause of war?

Question 4

• Do you believe the decisions to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were correct?

You have three minutes to consider the question you want MOST answered about World War One or Two.  Once you have it, write this question down and we will examine these questions over the next two weeks together as a class.
