THE ATOMIC BOMB

The Atomic Bomb The Trinity Test The Decision Hiroshima & Nagasaki

The atomic bomb is one of the most amazing and spectacular weapons ever created, but also one of the most controversial.  The decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan has been debated ever since the event.  The atomic bomb has been described as "the greatest achievement of organized science in history" by President Harry S. Truman, and it shaped the events during and after the war.  The atomic bomb affected post-war stability, and helped America rise to the position it is now.
