Grade 11 Economics Scrapbook Assignment

Economic life – of your community, your province, Canada, and the world – is continually changing.Keeping up to date with these changes is important. One of the best sources of information is your newspaper. In it, you will find current information and opinion on nearly every topic and issue discussed in the textbook.

To provide yourself with a file of information on economic information on economic events as they happen, clip out or print items that you find interesting and informative and file them according to the chapter headings in the textbook. In this way, when you are dealing with a particular chapter you will have clippings to supplement the information and opinions that arise in classroom work and discussion.Paste the clippings in scrapbook and give a summary of how the clipping is connected to the chapter theme in a minimum of 25 words.Your scrapbook should have a cover page showing the theme of economics, an index showing all the chapters covered in sequential order and a separate page for each chapter with a minimum of one clipping per chapter and connecting summary beneath the title of the chapter.Creativity and colourfulness will be graded as well.
