Students will be required to research their topic. You will be given library time to study your topic. You will also need to conduct your own research: local libraries, interviews with war veterans, internet, email.

You will develop a page chunk. After researching your topic, you will write a short "internet article" of 200-250 words. Your article must be typed directly onto the WWII internet project site. You will also need to provide a minimum of one visual (a picture or painting) that will be included on your article.

The visual that you include on your web article should represent the story you are trying to tell in the article. ***If you use a picture from the internet, or use the digital camera please cite the source of the photo.***

Your article must include a minimum of 3 links to internet resources dealing with your topic. You will also be required to include at least one link within the content of the article to another article written by a student at our school or to one from one of the other co-operating schools.

Your article has a strict deadline just like in the media industry. You will meet the assigned deadline, you will then lose a mark for every day, up to five days late, then the article will not be considered or included in the magazine.

Upon completion of the Internet Magazine, you will be required to read selected articles from the WWII Magazine. There will then be a test based on our Magazine and work and research done in class.
