| The main result of the Crusades was hardening Muslim attitudes against the Christian faith. Also after one stood back and viewed all the destruction and the death that had happened there began to be doubts about God's will and the church's authority. This lack of trust, in my opinion, was one of the main factors pushed away society from the religious ruled civilization that they had grown accustom to. Also the increased use of literature and translation of literature made it possible for more publication of different books. The Koran was translated and printed in Latin in the year 1143 by Peter the Venerable. Also Christians began to view Muslims as lost souls that they needed to save instead of just viewing them as the enemy or robbers or murderers. But in the same way, This money was not wasted in the Crusades for another end result of them was to further and advance of a money run economy, banking and of course wherever there is money there are also taxes. The two countries that were most effected in this manor were Also more research of medicine, Islamic science, and philosophy occurred as another result of the Crusades. This was all due to the contact made with the Muslims through the Crusades. |
