Historical Importance G8 is historicaly important because it is the coming together of the worlds super powers to help other countries in the world. This makes the world a better place to live and unites many countries. This helps developing countries to improve there economy. For example G8 is currently in the process of helping Africa fight AIDS and come out of debt. With G8 it promotess peace and anti-war becasue G8 is striving towards making the world a better place and focusing on political and economical issues. HAving the super powers together there is less likely hood in war because if a country gets in a war with one of the G8 members the support system of the rest of the G8 is activated. To have the worlds super powers unite makes the economy a better because money is put towards projects. With countries coming together and taking on projects together we are able to make more technological advances. G8 has a postive influence on the rest of the world.
