Summary Canada being neighbors with the united states was developed as a north American country. Canada and the united states share a lot of the same culture. As a result, Canada has become very Americanized in the 21st century. However Canada does have some of its own distinct aspects of culture. Our country has been known for things such as its bilingualism, theatre, TV documentaries and comedy having to do with political issues and figures. Canada is very closely linked to its aboriginal heritage and natural roots. People living in canada in the 21st century love spending leisure times outside in canadas beautiful natural landscape. Despite these few differences in canada's culture, our country is greatly influenced by the united states and has taken alot of its culture afer the U.S. 85% of the TV we watch is American TV, and our entertainment forms are basically the same as the U.S.

Historical Importance Canadian culture is what helps to define canada as its own independant nation. Canada has blended in with the unityed states nd has taken on an "American WEay" of living. However canada still has some of its own heritage so that it can stand out and apart from the United States. Canada's native background, beautiful landscapes, multiulturalism and distnct art forms all make canada its own country and an appealing place to live. It's important that Canada doesnt completely abandon its heritage and culture so that we can set ourselves apart from the U.S. and prevent more Americanization in Canada. |
